This star-studded ceremony promises to honour the nation’s recent dominance across formats and age groups, spotlighting top performers from the 2024/25 international and domestic seasons, including the trailblazing senior women’s team and U19 girls’ squad.

BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia announced the inclusive guest list, emphasising the breadth of India’s success. “The BCCI Awards ceremony will take place on March 15 in New Delhi. We plan to invite all the ICC tournament winners, including the recent T20 World Cup champions, along with their coaches,” Saikia told IANS. “This includes the senior men’s team, the senior women’s team, the U19 boys’ team, and the U19 girls’ team, who all won trophies in 2025.”

The event’s timing and venue, a five-star hotel near the airport, have been thoughtfully chosen to suit the senior men’s team, who must report to IPL pre-season camps starting March 28. Saikia also revealed that the 2025 Champions Trophy-winning squad will join the festivities. “We will invite the members of the 2025 Champions Trophy-winning team as well. Thus, the awards night will celebrate the five ICC trophies won by various Indian teams over the past year, making it a memorable evening,” he added.

For women’s cricket enthusiasts, this gathering underscores a transformative year. The senior women’s team’s ODI World Cup triumph at home marked a pinnacle moment, inspiring a new generation, while the U19 girls’ victory signals a robust pipeline of talent. The specially abled Indian women’s team, under the leadership of skipper Deepika TC were also crowned as the inaugural champions of the Blind T20 World Cup in November 2025, hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
