Australia Women have announced a 15-player squad for their upcoming white-ball tour of the Caribbean. The tour consists of three T20 Internationals (T20Is) and three One Day Internationals (ODIs) against West Indies. The tour will begin on March 19, 2026, and will provide both teams with an opportunity to test their combinations in different formats.

The rivalry between Australia and West Indies has largely been dominated by the Australians over the years. In ODIs, the two teams have met 18 times, with Australia winning 16 of those matches. West Indies have managed just one victory, while one game ended with no result.

The story in T20 Internationals (T20Is) has been quite similar. Out of the 16 matches played between the sides, Australia have won 14, while West Indies have picked up two wins. These numbers reflect Australia’s strong record against the Caribbean side, but every series brings a fresh opportunity. With matches being played at home, West Indies will be hoping to challenge Australia and change these numbers in their favour in the upcoming tour.

Australia’s squad features a good balance of experienced players and young talent. Senior all-rounder Ellyse Perry remains one of the most experienced members of the team and will again play a key role with both bat and ball. In this post-Alyssa Healy era, wicketkeeper-batter Beth Mooney continues to be a vital part of Australia’s top order, known for her consistency and ability to anchor the innings.

All-rounders Ashleigh Gardner and Tahlia McGrath add strength to the middle-order while also offering important bowling options. In the pace department, experienced fast bowler Megan Schutt will lead the attack, supported by the youngster Darcie Brown. The spin unit includes players such as Alana King, Georgia Wareham and Sophie Molineux, giving Australia several options in Caribbean conditions.

The squad also reflects Australia’s focus on developing young players. Batters like Phoebe Litchfield and Georgia Voll continue to gain valuable international experience. Nicola Carey, Kim Garth, Lucy Hamilton and Tahlia Wilson have also been included, adding further depth and strength to the lineup.

One notable absentee from the squad is all-rounder Annabel Sutherland. She will miss the series as part of a proactive workload management plan after a demanding 12 months of cricket. The decision has been taken to ensure she remains fresh and fully fit for upcoming international commitments. Notably, Grace Harris, now absent in the squash, is understood to remain in Australia’s plan for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.

The T20I leg of the tour will be played in Kingstown, with matches scheduled on 19 March, 21 March and 23 March. After the T20I series, the teams will move to Basseterre for the ODI series. The three ODIs will take place on 27 March, 29 March and 2 April.
