The excitement for the fourth season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) is hitting a fever pitch. If you’ve been waiting to watch the world’s best cricketers in action, mark your calendars for December 26, 2025. Starting at 6:00 PM IST, the ticket sales will go live.

For this edition, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has teamed up with District as the official ticketing partner, giving fans a seamless way to book their spots and also via the WPL website or app on Android and iOS.
The tournament kicks off in style on January 9, 2026, in Navi Mumbai. It’s going to be a blockbuster start at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy as the defending champions, Mumbai Indians (MI), face off against the only other title-winners Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
Navi Mumbai will be the cricket hub for the first half of the season, hosting a total of 11 matches from January 9 to January 17. Whether you’re rooting for Mandhana’s RCB or Kaur’s MI, this opening leg is where the momentum will be built.
After the initial 11 matches, the WPL caravan moves to a new destination—the BCA Stadium in Vadodara. This venue will host the remaining 11 fixtures, including the high-stakes Playoffs and Final.
Vadodara fans have plenty to look forward to, as the city will be the backdrop for the league’s climax, crowning the new champions in early February. With the tournament format staying tight and competitive, every match in the Vadodara leg will be crucial for teams eyeing a spot in the final.
The shift to a January-February window is a first for the league, designed to give the women’s game its own dedicated spotlight without clashing with other major international schedules. With a total of 22 matches packed into less than a month, the tournament promises to be a sprint rather than a marathon.
From the electric atmosphere expected at the 55,000-capacity DY Patil Stadium to the final showdown at the BCA Stadium on February 5, the 2026 edition is set to be the most competitive yet.
Given the massive following for stars like Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Deepti Sharma, Jemimah Rodrigues and many more, tickets are expected to disappear fast—so make sure you’re logged in and ready when the clock strikes six on the 26th.
