Australian cricket player Lisa Griffith has been named in the New South Wales (NSW) Breakers squad which will play T20 matches against Thailand. Thailand Women who have qualified for the T20 World Cup for the first time will play T20 matches against NSW Breakers to prepare themselves for the big event.
Griffith has captained NSW Breakers in the Women’s National Cricket League of Australia. Griffith was also a part of team Sydney Thunder in Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL).
12 players have been selected in the NSW Squad who will face the Thailand national team as they prepare for the 20 over World Cup. It will also give the Breakers much-needed game time before the Women’s National Cricket League resumes in January.
Lisa Griffith is an all-rounder and under her captaincy, NSW Breakers have won one of the two games that they played in the league so far. They defeated South Australia by 6 wickets.
NSW Breakers will play two T20 matches against Thailand on Tuesday at Bradman Oval in Bowral.
