Stepping onto the KBC stage will be a formidable lineup of champions — Harmanpreet Kaur, Harleen Kaur Deol, Richa Ghosh, Shafali Verma, Deepti Sharma, Sneh Rana, and India Women’s Team Head Coach Amol Muzumdar. Their arrival marks a rare occasion where cricket’s brightest talents and television’s most enduring institution come together.

The episode is part of the show’s continued legacy of spotlighting extraordinary journeys. For over twenty years, KBC has blended knowledge with human emotion, and this celebration is set to uphold that tradition with sensitivity and sparkle.

The team’s triumph is monumental on many levels. From 1973 to 2022, women’s cricket saw 12 editions of the ODI World Cup. India first entered the global arena in 1977, and despite finishing runners-up in 2005 and 2017, the trophy remained elusive — until now. In the 13th edition, the Women in Blue lifted the World Cup, sealing a story that stretched across generations of fans and players.

KBC honours this achievement with a specially curated victory video that revisits the squad’s iconic wins, pivotal moments, and the fierce passion that fueled their campaign.

A promo released by the makers shows Amitabh Bachchan in conversation with captain Harmanpreet Kaur. With characteristic curiosity, he asks: “When you guys win, how do you celebrate your victory?”

Harmanpreet’s straightforward response — “We dance.” — instantly lights up the moment. The studio erupts into cheer as Amitabh Bachchan himself joins the team on the dance floor, guided by Harmanpreet’s steps, are sure to become one of the most cherished visuals of the season.

The episode promises an intimate peek into the dressing-room energy of the Women in Blue. Expect playful stories, on-field memories, candid exchanges, and a spirited back-and-forth between one of India’s greatest actors and its newest cricketing legends.

Although the squad reunites for this special appearance, Smriti Mandhana is notably missing. Reports suggest she skipped the shoot following her wedding postponement.

The special episode will air on Friday (December 5th) from 9:00 PM onwards, as part of the ongoing season of Kaun Banega Crorepati 17.
