Dottin, who has been away from the game for quite a while now, is expected to make her return with this tournament. She has been cleared to participate in the competition after her surgery. Stafanie Taylor will also be seen in action in this league. The franchise-based cricket tournament will kick off on December 3 this year, with the final being played on the 13th of the month. Three venues in Trinidad have been selected where the matches will take place.

This year’s Courts T20 Grand Slam was officially launched at the National Cricket Centre in Balmain, Couva on Monday. It is reported that the sponsorship has also increased this year with the tournament getting a nod from Cricket West Indies for the next two years as well.

As reported by Roger Seepersad of trinidadexpress.com, vice-president of the Trinidad and Tobago Women’s Cricket Association Ms. Ann Browne-John said that she was hopeful that the tournament would grow in the upcoming seasons. She also said that Cricket West Indies have ensured that the West Indies players are available throughout the tournament.

The Courts T20 Grand Slam is growing every season in the Caribbean. This time the main sponsor Courts will be investing $100,000 in the tournament which is 30 percent more than what they did last year.
