England, led by skipper Nat Sciver Brunt, recently hosted the West Indies and inflicted a whitewash in both white-ball formats. The West Indies, led by skipper Hayley Matthews, are currently hosting South Africa, led by skipper Laura Wolvaardt, for a white-ball series that includes a three-match ODI series followed by a three-match T20I series from 11th to 23rd June 2025. The ODI series is levelled 1-1 with one game to go.

The Indian vice-captain, Smriti Mandhana, has reclaimed the top spot, as she climbs up one spot to the 1st position (727 points) in the latest ODI rankings update. England skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt has also inched closer to the top spot as she climbed up one spot to the 2nd position (719 points).

South Africa

The veteran opening batter Tazmin Brits is currently the 3rd highest run-scorer of the series with 83 runs at a strike rate of 69.74 and an average of 41.50 in a couple of innings with the bat in the ongoing ODI series against the West Indies. As a result, she has earned a significant rise as she has climbed up five spots to the 27th position (544 points). The experienced veteran Sune Luus is currently the leading run-scorer of the series with 108 runs at a strike rate of 91.52 and an average of 54 in a couple of innings with the bat for her side. As a result, she has also earned a significant rise as she has climbed up 7 spots to the 42nd position (493 points).

Annerie Dercksen has scored 41 runs at a strike rate of 120.58 and an average of 20.50 in a couple of innings with the bat. As a result, she has climbed up one spot to the 47th position (481 points). As a result, she has climbed up one spot to the 8th position (634 points). Afy Fletcher is the leading wicket-taker for her side and also the joint highest wicket-taker of the series with 5 wickets at an average of 21 and an economy of 5.25 in a couple of innings with the ball, alongside Nonkululeko Mlaba from South Africa. She has also scored 19 runs in one inning with the bat. As a result of her all-round contributions, she has climbed up a couple of spots to the 48th position (99 points). Zaida James scored 18 runs with the bat in one innings and chipped in with crucial spells with the ball for her side.
