The women’s edition will once again have the eight franchises battling it out, namely, Adamas Howrah Warriors, Harbour Diamonds, Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers, Murshidabad Kings & Kueens, Shrachi Rarh Tigers, Rashmi Medinipur Wizards, Servotech Siliguri Strikers and the Sobisco Smashers Malda.

The inaugural season saw the Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers, led by Mita Paul, take down the Murshidabad Kueens, who went down in the final by 5 runs. The Final saw the Tigers make 110/5 in their 20 overs after being put into bat first with Ipsita Mondal’s 37* and captain Mita Paul’s 24 helping the team put up a respectable total.

The Murshidabad Kueens saw Sandipta Patra and Priyanka Sarkar put up a fight in an otherwise batting unit failure with wickets from Ariktha Manna, Mita Paul and Mamata Kisku restricting the Kueens to 105/9 in their 20 overs.

With six victories from seven games and a commanding NRR of +0.755, Murshidabad Queens Women emerged as the tournament’s most impressive squad as the inaugural Women’s Bengal Pro T20 League came to a close.

With five victories, the Shrachi Rarh Tigers Women came in second, demonstrating their ability to compete consistently. Both the Kolkata Tigers and the Medinipur Wizards finished with seven points, but Kolkata had the advantage thanks to their outstanding NRR.

Despite having three wins apiece at the end of their seasons, Adamas Howrah Warriors and Sobisco Smashers Malda proved to be a disappointment with their subpar NRRs, particularly Sobisco’s -0.808.

Servotech Siliguri Strikers had a difficult season overall, winning only once and finishing last in the standings, while Harbour Diamonds Women struggled to convert close games, finishing with just two victories. The league showcased intriguing domestic talent and competitive cricket, indicating a more successful season the next year.
