Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) were the hosts of the ACC Level 1 Women Coaching course at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. There were 16 participants in total who were imparted with the basics of coaching.

Fareeha Mehmood feels that the coaching course helped her to figure out her own cricketing issues. She looks forward to sharing her experiences with other players and identify their issues as well.

Her father’s love for cricket pulled Fareeha to the game, she recalls. Fareeha made her debut for the Pakistan senior team last year. She played 3 T20Is against Sri Lanka in March 2018. Fareeha is also one of the probables to attend Muridke training camp to prepare for the Bangladesh series.

Pakistan captain Bismah Maroof and Sidra Amin are some of Fareeha’s favourite players of the sport. “I love watching Bismah bat and try to follow the way she plays, but Sidra Amin is the one who I idolize”, she said to www.thenews.com.pk .
