Beth Mooney retains top spot, Amelia Kerr enters Top 10 in Latest Rankings update

The Suzie Bates-led White Ferns recently hosted Australia, led by Tahlia McGrath, for a three-match T20I series in March this year. The T20 World Champions didn’t have the result in their favour as they suffered a whitewash (3-0) in the T20I series.

T20I Batting Rankings

New Zealand:

The White Ferns all-rounder Melie Kerr finished the recently concluded T20I home series against Australia as the leading run-scorer for her side and the 3rd highest run-scorer of the series with 157 runs at a strike rate of 121.70 and an outstanding average of 78.50 in three innings including a couple of half-centuries to her name. As a result of her sensational performances in the series, she has earned a significant rise as she climbed up seven spots to the 10th position (633 points).

The experienced veteran Maddy Green also had an impressive outing in the recently concluded T20I series against Australia as she ended the series as the 2nd highest run-scorer for her side and the 4th highest run-scorer of the series with 84 runs at an impressive strike rate of 158.49 and an outstanding average of 42 in a couple of innings with the bat for her side in the series. As a result, she has earned a significant rise as she has climbed up 9 spots to equal the 45th position (469 points) alongside South Africa’s Sune Luus.

Australia:

The 21-year-old Australian top-order batter Phoebe Litchfield scored 60 runs at a strike rate of 122.44 and an average of 20 in three innings in the T20I series against New Zealand. She has climbed up a couple of spots to the 20th position (602 points). Another 21-year-old youngster Georgia Voll who opened the innings for her side in the series against the White Ferns is enjoying a purple patch, kickstarting her international career on a high.

Voll ended the series as the 2nd highest run-scorer for her side and the series with 161 runs at an impressive strike rate of 149.07 and an average of 53.66 in three innings which included a couple of half-centuries to her name in the series, further solidifying her spot in the T20I set-up. On the back of her yet another impressive performance, she has earned a massive rise as she has climbed up 29 spots to equal the 41st position (485 points) alongside Stafanie Taylor from the West Indies.

T20I Bowling Rankings:

Australia:

Leg-spinner Georgia Wareham picked up a couple of wickets at an economy of 6.57 in three innings with the ball in the recently concluded T20I series against the White Ferns. As a result, she has climbed up one spot to equal the 8th position (704 points) alongside Pakistan’s Nashra Sandhu. Her fellow teammate and one of the most experienced pacers in the lineup Megan Schutt picked up a couple of wickets at a slightly higher economy of 9.75 in a couple of innings with the ball for her side in the recently concluded series. As a result, she has climbed up one spot to the 11th position (689 points).

New Zealand:

The experienced White Ferns pacer Rosemary Mair picked up one wicket at an economy of 9.41 in three innings with the ball for her side in the recently concluded home series against Australia. She has climbed up four spots to the 26th position (601 points).

T20I All-rounder Rankings

Australia:

The Australian stand-in skipper Tahlia McGrath picked up one wicket at an economy of 8.16 in three innings with the ball and scored an unbeaten 14* in the 3rd T20I. As a result, she has climbed up one spot to the 17th position (205 points).

New Zealand:

Former White Ferns skipper Sophie Devine scored 40 runs at an average of 20 in three innings with the bat and picked up a couple of wickets at an economy of 9.87 in three innings with the ball. As a result of her all-round contributions, she has climbed up one spot to the 19th position (196 points).

The current White Ferns T20I skipper Suzie Bates picked up one wicket at an economy of 8.50 in a couple of innings with the ball and scored 33 runs at a strike rate of 126.92 in three innings with the bat. As a result of her all-round contributions, she has climbed up one spot to equal the 33rd position (126 points) alongside Rabeya Khan from Bangladesh.

Rosemary Mair alongside picking up one wicket with the ball, also scored 10 runs at a strike rate of 111.11 in a couple of innings with the bat for her side in the recently concluded series against Australia. As a result, she earned a significant rise as she climbed up 6 spots to the 47th position (100 points).
