Female Cricket in association with Project Front Foot carried out their first cricket kit donation drive in Dahisar Sports Club, Mumbai. is We are honored to have initiated our cricket kit donation drive to deserving young girls and women cricketers in and around India. Our special thanks to the sponsor Project Front Foot without whom this wouldn’t have been possible. Thank you Victor Mills, for the amazing cricket kits. They are surely grooming Mumbai girl cricketers and nurturing their true potential.
It was our first donation drive and our excitement knew no bounds as Dahisar Sports Club were all ready to welcome us at their club.

Dahisar Sports Club, started in the year 1970 by three passionate brothers, Kishor Gogri, Pravin Gogri and Harakh Gogri. They have brought together their rich experience in sports to coach and guide young talents in the suburbs. The club’s students receive specialized training and proper guidance to improve their skills. Although it’s an old club, women’s Cricket started just last year in 2015 and currently caters to 14 Girls from in and around Mumbai.
Female Cricket reached Dahisar Sports Club on 31st Dec 2016 at around 7.30 in the morning and we weren’t surprised to see girls of all the ages (ranging 10-20) practicing toiling hard on the field. We were welcomed by Coach Nitin. Girls were already expecting our arrival and we could see the gleam in their eyes. Coach Nitin introduced us to the Secretary Mr. Pravin Gogri, the senior-most person at Dahisar Sports Club. He was equally excited with our visit and gave us insights about his club.
We took 2 Cricket bags with us and Coach Nitin arranged for our distribution to take place. 14 Girls were present at the Club. Here’s a quick detail:

We ourselves handed over the cricket kits to individual players based on their specialty/role. Coach Nitin equally guided us with the process.
