Skipper Babette de Leede leads from the front with a fifty to guide her side to 122/6

The Netherlands got off to a poor start, losing their top order after skipper Babette de Leede won the toss and opted to bat first. Iris Zwilling (28 off 35 balls) joined skipper Babette de Leede at the crease and the duo bailed their side out of trouble with a much-needed 76-run partnership for the 4th wicket to take their side past the 100-run mark.

Onnicha Kamchomphu picked up the big wicket of the opposition skipper Babette de Leede (52 off 50 balls) to provide the crucial 4th breakthrough for Thailand. She completed her well-deserved half-century before getting dismissed.

The Netherlands eventually posted a decent total of 122/6 in their quota of 20 overs. Iris Zwilling (28 off 35 balls) was the only other batter to enter into the double digits with the bat for the Netherlands. Thipatcha Putthawong (4-0-27-2), and Onnicha Kamchomphu (3-0-16-1), were the only wicket-takers with the ball for Thailand. Chanida Sutthiruang (3-0-5-0), was exceptional with the ball for her side.
