England and South Africa stars rewarded in latest ICC Women’s T20I rankings update

The South African women’s team led by skipper Laura Wolvaardt is hosting England for an all-format series from 24th November 2024 to 18th December 2024. The visitors led by skipper Heather Knight emerged victorious in the 1st T20I by four wickets against South Africa.

ICC Women’s T20I Batting Rankings

The veteran 32-year-old all-rounder, Nat Sciver-Brunt scored a brilliant half-century (59 off 54 balls) on what seemed to be a slightly tricky pitch to bat on, especially during the run chase to guide England to a comfortable victory to go 1-0 up in the series. As a result of her impressive performance, she climbed up a couple of spots to the 14th position (623 points).

The wicket-keeper batter from England Amy Jones played a solid cameo (31 off 19 balls) towards the end of the innings which played a pivotal role in helping their side get over the line in the first T20I. She has climbed up one spot to the 29th position (540 points).

The 24-year-old young all-rounder Nadine de Klerk chipped in with a handy cameo (29 off 16 balls) towards the backend of the innings. As a result, she has climbed up one spot to the 57th position (425 points).

ICC Women’s T20I Bowling Rankings

The young 23-year-old bowling all-rounder Charlie Dean returned with a brilliant spell of 4-0-21-2 with the ball for her side in the 1st T20I against South Africa. As a result of her impressive performance, she has climbed up four spots to the 15th position (680 points).

Nadine de Klerk from South Africa returned with brilliant match figures of 4-0-20-2 with the ball in the 1st T20I. As a result, she has climbed up four spots to the 37th position (544 points).

ICC Women’s T20I All-rounder Rankings

Nadine de Klerk from South Africa was brilliant for the home side in their 1st T20I of the ongoing T20I series against England. She scored 29 off 16 balls with the bat and returned with match figures of 4-0-20-2 with the ball for her side in the 1st T20I. As a result, she climbed up a couple of spots to the 11th position (231 points).

Her fellow South African teammate Annerie Dercksen also played a handy cameo of 26* off 29 balls with the bat for her side in the 1st T20I. As a result, she earned a significant rise as she climbed up 13 spots to equal the 95th position (49 points) alongside Darcie Brown from Australia, Darcey Carter from Scotland, and Sanjida Akter Meghla from Bangladesh.
