She has previously shared her love for the franchise, having followed RCB since childhood. She also expressed that being picked by RCB and playing for them was a dream come true. Her support for the team has always been evident, and she has expressed her emotions about the franchise’s picks during the auction as well.

Before the auction began on 24th November, Shreyanka Patil expressed her excitement and anticipation, noting that the outcomes in the coming days would have a significant impact on the team’s future for the next three years. As the auction started, Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, who had been with RCB since the 2021 season, was released by the franchise ahead of the 2025 mega auction.
