The CPL authorities, Government of Trinidad and Tobago, and Cricket West Indies (CWI) has come forward to organize two T10 matches for women.

The best cricketers of the Caribbean will be selected to play for the two matches. The matches to be played in Trinidad are – NLCB Challenge on 10 October at 3 pm and the Courts Invitational on 12 October at 12:30 pm local time.

The matches provide a good opportunity for the top local players to showcase their game. The two games can be the forerunners to a women’s league in the future. The games will be broadcast live on channel CNC3 in Trinidad & Tobago while Sportsmax will be broadcasting them to the rest of the Caribbean. Other parts of the world can watch the games live on YouTube.

These games are possible due to the efforts of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago and the Prime Minister, Dr. Keith Rowley. The sponsor partners – the National Lotteries Commission Board (NLCB) and Courts and the production partner, Sunset and Vine have also played a huge part.

We hope the two women’s T10 games will be exciting to watch. Do watch the games on the 10th and 12th of October happening in Trinidad.
