The 18-year-old all-rounder Aditiba Chudasama will replace the 36-year-old wicket-keeper batter Sindhu Sriharsha as the new skipper of the United States of America (USA). Sindhu Sriharsha is one of the most capped players for the USA Women’s cricket team. The five-match bilateral ODI series in Zimbabwe will be Aditiba Chudasama’s first assignment as the new skipper of the side.

As the most capped player for the women’s team, her work ethic and dedication have been extraordinary. USA Cricket is fortunate to have such a stalwart in Sindhu, and we look forward to her contributions to the team as an experienced and senior player, as we transition into a new phase,” said Women’s National Selection Panel Chair, Amer Afzaluddin expressing his gratitude to Sindhu Sriharsha for leading the side to some memorable victories during her tenure as the skipper of the side.
The USA women’s team will tour Zimbabwe for a five-match ODI series later this month. The series will commence on 17th October 2024 and will conclude on 28th October 2024. Under the leadership of skipper Sindhu Sriharsha she led her side to three series victories in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup America’s Qualifier. Aditiba Chudasama has been named in both the Junior and Senior Women’s National Training Group.
