Domestic Cricket

The 2022–23 Women’s Senior One Day Trophy was the 17th edition of the women’s List A cricket competition in India. Held from January 18 to February 7, 2023, the tournament featured 37 teams competing across five round-robin divisions. Shreyanka Patil, representing Karnataka, made a notable impact by taking 20 wickets in 11 matches and scoring 122 runs, with a highest score of 73. Her outstanding performance was a key factor in her selection for the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023.

Emerging Asia Cup, 2023

The 2023 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup, the fifth edition of the tournament, took place in Sri Lanka from July 13 to 23, 2023. During the group stage match against Hong Kong, Patil delivered an extraordinary performance, taking five wickets for two runs off three overs and earning the Player of the Match award.

In the final against Bangladesh, Patil was instrumental in her team’s victory, claiming four wickets in the second innings. She finished the campaign as the leading wicket-taker with a total of 9 wickets. Her outstanding performances throughout the tournament also earned her the Player of the Series award.

Women’s Caribbean Premier League, 2023

The 2023 Women’s Caribbean Premier League, the second edition of the tournament, was a domestic Twenty20 women’s cricket competition held in the West Indies. The tournament ran from August 31 to September 10, 2023, with matches hosted in Barbados and Trinidad. Notably, Patil made history as the first Indian player to participate in the Women’s Caribbean Premier League, representing the Guyana Amazon Warriors Women.

Patil’s exceptional performance throughout the tournament saw her emerge as the highest wicket-taker, claiming 9 wickets in just 5 innings. Her contributions were instrumental in guiding her team to the final.

India Debut

Patil made her international debut for India in T20Is on December 6, 2023, against England. She quickly made an impression by delivering a standout performance in her third match for India, where she was named Player of the Match for her exceptional bowling figures of 3/19.

Later that month, Patil made her debut in One Day Internationals (ODIs) against Australia on December 30, 2023. Her swift transition and impactful performances across formats highlight her growing prominence in international cricket.

Women’s Premier League, 2024

Shreyanka Patil made her debut with Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2023, but it was the 2024 season that truly showcased her exceptional talent. She delivered two remarkable four-wicket hauls during the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024, including figures of 4/26 against Delhi Capitals and a standout 4/12 in the final against the same team. These performances were key in her team’s success throughout the tournament.

Patil’s stellar season earned her the Purple Cap as the leading wicket-taker, with a total of 13 wickets in 8 innings. Additionally, she was named the Emerging Player of the WPL 2024. Her contributions were crucial in leading Royal Challengers Bangalore to victory in the 2024 season.
