The Hong Kong women’s team were last involved in the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Women’s Premier Cup under the leadership of Kary Chan. They managed to make it to the first quarter-final with two wins from three games during the league stages of the tournament. However, they ended up on the losing side against Thailand by three wickets in the first quarter-final.

The 35-year-old all-rounder Natasha Miles takes over the leadership duties from Kary Chan for their upcoming, first-ever T20I bilateral series against the Netherlands.

“It is an honor to lead the Hong Kong, China Women’s Team in our first T20I series against the Netherlands. We have an exciting and talented group of players who are eager to showcase their skills and compete at the next level. We are thrilled to be touring a new country and look forward to the challenge. We’ll certainly give the series our all and hope that we can push ourselves higher up the rankings.” The newly appointed skipper of the Hong Kong women’s team is excited to lead the side.
