Players to watch out:

Anika Kolan

The 17-year-old keeper-batter, from 14 T20I innings, has accumulated 217 runs, including the highest of 54*. Anika has been in good form of late, registering scores of 48 and 20 in her previous couple of T20Is, while in the lead-up to this series, in a couple of ODIs, registered scores of 34 and 33. It’ll be hoped that she continues on this run of form.

Suhani Thadani

The 17-year-old pacer, from 16 T20I appearances, has scalped 15 wickets, including the best of 4/6, averaging 11.00 and maintaining an economy rate of 3.65. Suhani was in brilliant form during the ICC Americas Qualifier and though she finished with figures of 0/21 (3) in her only ODI outing recently, she’ll be backed to return to her wicket-taking best.

Babette de Leede

The 24-year-old keeper-batter has added 564 runs to the tally from 46 T20I innings and registered the highest of 62*. Babette, in the lead-up to the series, played domestic cricket in South Africa and in her previous 3 T20s managed scores of 19, 17, and 30. The team will count on their seasoned batter to capitalize on this form, leading the tally.

Robine Rijke

The 27-year-old all-rounder in T20Is, from 47 outings, has amassed 605 runs and bagged 23 wickets from 16 innings, with respective bests being 46 and 4/7. Robine stepped up for the team in the regional qualifier with all-round efforts, and she will be relied upon for the same in the forthcoming game and the Global Qualifier to follow shortly after.

Pitch:

The Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium offers a fairly balanced center wicket that provides runs for batters and a good amount of assistance to bowlers as well. The average score at the venue is in the 120s, and spinners have the upper hand on this track.
