In a powerful tribute to the women of Uttar Pradesh, Women’s Premier League’s (WPL’s) UP Warriorz, in collaboration with UN Women and the St+art Foundation, unveiled a striking mural in the heart of South Delhi on the occasion of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace. The mural, painted on a municipal school building, celebrates the diverse stories of women in the state and promotes gender equality.
Designed by artist Sadhna Prasad, the mural showcases the resilience and achievements of women across different professions, ages, and life experiences in Uttar Pradesh.
