Team Green were up against Team Gold for a three-day red-ball match as a part of the Australia A program with an aim to help the domestic players to prepare for all the formats at the domestic level.

Team Green won the toss and opted to bat first, the openers Chloe Piparo and Georgia Voll got off to a solid start as they stitched together a 171-run opening partnership before Grace Parsons picked up the wicket of Chloe Piparo to provide the first breakthrough for Team Gold. Mady Darke joined Georgia Voll at the crease and the duo stitched another massive 167-run partnership for the 2nd wicket before Grace Parsons came back and picked up the wicket of Maddy Darke to provide the 2nd breakthrough for Team Gold.

Team Green eventually ended up with a total of 355/3 in their first innings courtesy of a declaration. Georgia Voll stayed unbeaten on 200 off 238 balls, Chloe Piparo (66 off 136 balls), and Maddy Darke (57 off 93 balls) were the top performers with the bat for Team Green. Grace Parsons (16-0-69-3) was the only wicket-taker and the top performer with the ball for Team Gold. After conceding over 350, Team Gold bounced back with a solid response declaring their innings posting 350/4, on the board, trailing Team Green by just five runs.

Both the Team Gold openers, Nicole Faltum (112 off 229 balls) and Emma de Broughe (115 off 178 balls) smashed their individual centuries, alongside Katie Mack (56 off 81 balls) were the top performers with the bat for Team Gold. Heather Graham (9.3-1-42-2), Maitlan Brown (12-3-29-1), and Alana King (17-2-53-1) were the top performers with the ball for Team Green.

Trailing Team Green by five runs, Team Gold came back with a much-improved bowling performance in their 2nd innings as they bundled Team Green out for 259, setting a 264-run target for Team Gold. Alana King (81 off 127 balls), Georgia Voll (56 off 91 balls), and Chloe Piparo (55 off 102 balls) were the top performers with the bat for Team Green in the 2nd innings. Gabrielle Sutcliffe (8-2-28-3), Sophie Day (14-4-18-2), Darcie Brown (13-2-58-2), and Charlie Knott (7-1-23-2) were the top performers with the ball for Team Gold.

Chasing a target of 264, Team Gold failed to stitch a substantial partnership as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Emma de Broughe stayed unbeaten (86 off 134 balls) and was the top performer with the bat for Team Gold alongside Charlie Knott (26 off 24 balls), and Nicole Faltum (22 off 32 balls). Alana King (16.4-1-52-4), and Heather Graham (13-2-38-3) were the top performers with the ball for Team Green. Team Gold found themselves at 173/7 in the 48th over of the innings when both teams mutually agreed to put an end to the game, resulting in a draw.
