The Qatar Cricket Association (QCA) is going to hold a training camp for women cricketers to prepare them better for future competitions. According to Manzoor Ahmad, the Operations Manager of the QCA, the governing body will launch a training program for female cricketers under the trained coaches of the association. The major aim of the program is to improve the level of female cricket players in the country.
The players will be categorized into two groups – below 14 years and above 14 years and the interested players are invited to send their consent to join the sport development program.
“This is great opportunity for players who have played cricket in their respective countries for any club, district or state teams and are enthusiastic and interested will be given priority in the senior training group. Even those who have passion for cricket and wish to work hard on the field are also welcome,” said Ahmad.
