The first-ever Isle of Man Women’s team was formed in November 2020. They played their maiden T20I on 12th November 2022 against Norway at the Desert Springs Cricket Ground in Almeria.
The side registered their maiden victory at the international level in their debut game against Norway, as they completed a comprehensive 10-wicket victory, after having bowled out the opposition for just 46 runs. They last played an international game on 14th November 2022 against Sweden. In this article, we will be discussing the schedule of the Isle of Man Women’s national team for the upcoming summer.
Isle of Man Women’s Tour to Austria 2023
The Isle of Man Women will be touring Austria for a three-match bilateral series that will be played in the T20I format. The series will commence on 31st July 2023. All the matches in the series will be played at the Seebarn Cricket Ground. The last T20I of the series is set to be played on 1st August 2023. Austria was last involved in a five-match T20I series against France. The visitors inflicted a whitewash on the home side.

Isle of Man Women’s Tour to Romania for Women’s Intercontinental Cup 2023
The Isle of Man Women’s team will then touch down in Romania to participate in an Intercontinental Cup, involving teams like Romania, Malta, Greece, and the Czech Republic. The tournament will commence on 4th August 2023. All the matches will be played at the Moara Vlasiei Cricket Ground. The seven completed T20 internationals will enable them to achieve an ICC T20 International ranking for the Isle of Man Women’s national cricket team.
Greece women are enjoying an unbeaten run in their last three matches. Malta women have also been on an unbeaten run in their last three games, while Isle of Man Women have ended up on the opposite side of things as they have just managed to win a solitary game against Norway. The hosts Romania have managed to get a couple of victories under their belt against Serbia last time around in the 2022 edition of the tournament.
