Cricket Australia reveals International Women’s Fixtures for home 2023-24 season

Cricket Australia (CA) has revealed the international fixtures for the 2023-24 home season. The national women’s team is scheduled to play a six-match white-ball series against West Indies at the start of the summer and an all-format series against South Africa to conclude the international home season.

The Australian women’s team will commence their season with a three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series against West Indies. The first two matches will be held at North Sydney Oval on the 1st and 3rd of October, while the final match will take place in Brisbane on the 5th of October.

Subsequently, they will face West Indies in a three-match One-Day International (ODI) series. The first game will be hosted at Allan Border Field on the 8th of October, followed by two matches at Junction Oval, Melbourne on the 12th and 15th, respectively.

Post the 9th edition of the Women’s Big Bash League (W-BBL) and tour of India for a multi-format series in December-January, Australia then kick off their 2nd home series, this against South Africa with 2 matches at Manuka Oval, Canberra and they will then travel to Blundstone Arena, Hobart for the third T20I on January 30th.

Following the T20I series, Australia will take on South Africa in the 3-match ODI series. The first ODI will be held at Adelaide Oval on February 3rd and the action will then shift back to North Sydney Oval for the next two ODIs on February 7th and 10th.

The home fixtures of the Australian women’s team reach a thrilling conclusion with an eagerly anticipated inaugural Test Match against South Africa at the iconic WACA Ground from the 15th to the 18th of February.
