Following an engaging voting period involving media representatives and cricket fans from around the globe, the International Cricket Council (ICC) revealed its schedule for announcing the winners of the 18 prestigious ICC Awards for the (2022) year that’s gone by starting from the 23rd of January.
Before the individual prize winners will be announced over four days across ICC digital channels, the ICC will reveal five teams of the year, which are selected by the independent panel of media representatives that make up the ICC Voting Academy.

ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year 2022
The award sees New Zealand’s Amelia Kerr, India’s Smriti Mandhana, England’s Nat Sciver, and Australia’s Beth Mooney in the list of nominees to receive the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy for the ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year that’ll be announced on the 26th of January.
Nat Sciver – 1346 runs and 22 wickets in 33 matches
Smriti Mandhana – 1290 runs in 38 matches
Amelia Kerr – 1003 runs and 30 wickets in 32 matches
Beth Mooney – 915 runs in 25 matches
ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year 2022
The award sees South Africa’s Shabnam Ismail, Australia’s Alyssa Healy, and eyeing a double will be, England’s Nat Sciver and New Zealand’s Amelia Kerr who feature in a list of nominees under the category that’ll see the winner declared on the 26th of January.
Shabnim Ismail – 37 wickets in 17 matches
Amelia Kerr – 676 runs and 17 wickets in 18 matches
Nat Sciver – 833 runs and 11 wickets in 17 matches
Alyssa Healy – 629 runs, eight catches, and 4 stumpings in 12 matches
ICC Women’s Emerging Cricketer of the Year 2022
The award sees a couple of Indians, Renuka Singh Thakur, and Yastika Bhatia make it to the list of nominees of 4 that also has Australia’s Darcie Brown and England’s Alice Capsey feature. The winner in the category will be revealed on the 25th of January, 2023.
Renuka Singh – 18 ODI wickets, 22 T20I wickets
Darcie Brown – 2 Test wickets, 10 ODI wickets, 11 T20I wickets
Alice Capsey – 80 ODI runs, 234 T20I runs
Yastika Bhatia – 376 ODI runs, 49 T20I runs
ICC Women’s T20I Cricketer of the Year 2022
The award sees India’s Smriti Mandhana, Pakistan’s Nida Dar, New Zealand’s Sophie Devine, and Australia’s Tahlia McGrath feature in the list of nominees that’ll be announced on the 25th of January.
Smriti Mandhana – 594 runs in 23 matches
Nida Dar – 396 runs and 15 wickets in 16 matches
Sophie Devine – 389 runs and 13 wickets in 14 matches
Tahlia McGrath – 435 runs and 13 wickets in 16 matches
The nominees for the ICC Women’s Associate Cricketer of the Year aren’t yet revealed but the winner is scheduled to be declared on the 25th of January. The opening couple of days reveal will see, the ICC Women’s ODI Team of the Year revealed on the 24th, while the ICC Women’s T20I Team of the Year will be revealed on the 23rd of January, the opening day.
