In the 3rd T20, India U-19 batting first had starts from openers, Soumya Tiwari (16) and Shweta Sehrawat (20) provide a platform for the middle-order to bank on and the pair of G Trisha and Sonia Mehdiya did just that with respective scores of 32 and 38. Late runs from Titas Sadhu (18) pushed India to finish on 145/8. New Zealand U19 in reply had Olivia Gain top score with a fine knock of 40(35), but a no-show from the top order saw the team lose the plot early. Flora Devonshire (18), skipper, Prue Catton (11) and Ashtuti Kumar (17*) looked to do the repair work, but it just was a little much which resulted in India winning the game by 30 runs and sealing the series 3-0.

Olivia Gain

The New Zealand opener has played a couple of games in the series so far and she, on a personal level, has done exceeding well in improving her 1 from the opener to a fine 40 that’d come off 35 balls in the 3rd T20 game.
