Live Streaming Details for Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2022-23 Announced

The Indian domestic cricket season for senior women’s teams got underway on the 12th of October with the 14th edition of the Senior Women’s T20 League. The tournament that sees Railways as the defending champions has now moved into its business end and will have a majority of games played at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.

After 7 days and 119 games, 11 teams of the 37 participating, have confirmed a berth in the knockouts. Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu from Group B have advanced for the Pre-Quarter Finals that’ll be on the 30th of November. Bengal from Group C and Jharkhand from Group B too on the same day will complete in the 2nd Pre-Quarter Final, while Tripura from Group A and Himachal from Group D face off for the 3rd Pre-Quarter Final event. Below is a brief on individual team performances.

Group stage seedings of Pre-Quarter Finalist :

Madhya Pradesh finished 2nd in their group B with 22 points against their name. The side bagged wins in 5 of their 7 games and while, they lost a game, the other did not register a result. The team are scheduled to Tamil Nadu from the same, group B in their Pre-Quarter Final contest. Tamil Nadu finished 3rd in the seedings with 20 points to their name that’s come of their 5 wins in the 7 contested games.

The 2nd Pre-Quarter Final contest has a Bengal vs Jharkhand face-off on the cards. Seeded in group C, Bengal finished 2nd with 16 points to their name that’d come of their 4 wins off 6 contested games. Whereas, Jharkhand, seeded in Group E too with 4 wins off their 6 games finished 2nd with 16 points to their name.

The 3rd Pre-Quarter Final contest will see Tripura and Himachal Pradesh come together to fight for a spot in the Quarter Finals. Group A-seeded, Tripura finished 2nd on the rankings with 4 wins, a couple of defeats and a game with no result, which sees them close out with 18 points to their name off their 7 games. Himachal in group D finished 2nd with 3 wins, a couple of no-result endings and a defeat. The team managed 16 points off their 6 games and a narrow sneak into the Pre-Quarter Finals.

The Quarter Finals that are scheduled to be played on the 1st of November follow which see defending champions, Railways from Group B, Rajasthan from Group E, Andra from Group A and Vidarbha and Maharashtra from respective Groups C and D with a spot in the round. While, Vidarbha’s face-off is confirmed against Maharashtra, sides; Railways, Rajasthan and Andra have got to wait a little longer to know who they meet in their quest for a Semi-Final ticket.

Live Streaming :

The Pre-Quarter Finals games between Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu and Tripura and Himachal Pradesh will be aired live on Star Sports Select 1 and Star Sports Select 1 HD. Moving forward, a couple of the 4 Quater-Final games scheduled to be played on the 1st of November, both the Semi-Finals Games from the 3rd and the Final on the 5th of November will have live coverage by Star Network.
