Domestic Schedule of Indian Cricket Team for 2022-2023 Season

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) when revealed this year’s domestic schedule made a notable change with the games beginning a month early and speculations took place of it being so to squeeze in the inaugural edition of the Women’s IPL. It now is understood that the BCCI has reserved a “four-week window” in March for the Women’s IPL to get underway.

The Senior women’s T20 Trophy league stage games are set to be held from the 11th to the 22nd of October across 5 venues in Guwahati, Bengaluru, Vizag, Surat, and Mumbai. While the knockouts will be played in Bangalore from the 30th of October to the 5th of November.

Lucknow is handed the hosting duties for the Inter-zonal T20 tournament from the 8th to 16th of November, while Senior Women’s T20 Challenger will be in Vizag from November 20 to 26.

The Senior Women’s One-Day Trophy will be held from the 18th of January till the 7th of February. The U-19 games are scheduled to be conducted from the 1st to the 17th of October. With the reintroduction of Senior Inter-Zonal T20 and One-Dayers into the cricketing calendar, the BCCI will hold an inaugural tournament for the U-16 girls keeping in mind the inaugural edition of the ICC U-19 T20 World Cup that’ll be played early next year in South Africa and the games for the same (U-16) will be held from 26th of December to the 12th of January.
