The third and the final game of the three-match T20 series between Fairbreak XI and Netherlands will be played on September 2 at the VRA ground in Amstelveen, Netherlands. The match will start at 6.30PM IST. Fairbreak XI has taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the series after beating Netherlands by 35 runs in the first T20 and by 19 runs in the second T20.

In the second T20, batting first, Fairbreak XI posted 119/4 in 20 overs, riding on Kerry-Anne Tomlinson’s delectable half-century. This was her second consecutive 50+ score in the tournament. For Netherlands, Silver Siegers was the pick of the bowlers as she claimed three scalps. In reply, the hosts were restricted to 100/7 in 20 overs. Robine Rijke top scored with 37 while for Fairbreak XI, Mariko Hill was the most successful bowler with two wickets.

Players to watch out for 

Mariko Hill: The talented all-rounder from Hong Kong had a good outing with both bat and ball for Fairbreak XI in the second T20 against Netherlands. Opening the batting, she scored 20 off 24, including three boundaries. Apart from this, the right arm seamer was the most successful bowler for her side picking up 14/2 in four overs. She opened the bowling with Gunjan Shukla and bowled well with the new ball.

Kerry-Anne Tomlinson: The right-handed top order batter of Fairbreak XI struck her second consecutive half-century in the tournament as she mustered 51 off 52 in the second T20 against Netherlands. She hammered five boundaries in her delightful innings. She top scored for her team and steered them to a respectable score of 119/4 in 20 overs.

Silver Siegers: The right arm leg spinner of Netherlands was the pick of the bowlers in the second T20 against Fairbreak XI. The wily bowler accounted for 21/3 in four overs. She bowled well in the middle phase of the innings and tamed the free flow of runs. She showed good control over her lines and lengths. 

Robine Rijke: The right-handed middle order batter of Netherlands starred with the bat as she scored 37 runs off 41 balls in the second T20 against Fairbreak XI. She led the run chase from the front however failed to see her side home. She came in to bat in the fourth over and was there in the middle till the 18th over.

Pitch

This will be the third match of the tournament at this venue. The teams batting first have won both the matches. The average first innings score is 131 and the average second innings score is 111. Batting seems to be easier in the first half of the match. However, with the third straight match being played at the same venue, expect the wicket to be slower. Spinners could be effective.
