In a wider sense, top performers with time surely will be given places in the senior sides as well as in the domestic season which commences later this year.

The PCB has also introduced financial awards for the players featuring in the league. The winning team is set to receive PKR 400,000 along with the silverware and the runner-up will be receiving PKR 200,000. The player of the tournament will be awarded PKR 20,000 and each player of the match will receive PKR 10,000. The tournament’s top performers as the best player, best batter, best bowler and best wicketkeeper will also be gifted kit bags.

The PCB has also finalised six 14-player squads. These squads were formed after country-wide open trials and subsequent practice games amongst the selected players across the PCB-run women’s regional academies. In addition, fifteen players have been placed in the reserve pool and they can be called up based on a team’s requirement.
