Virat Kohli shows Support to Indian Women’s Team for World Cup Campaign

Former team India captain, Virat Kohli on Wednesday showed his support to the Indian women’s team going into the 2022 world cup in New Zealand starting on March 4th. The cricket icon on social media encouraged the Women in Blue to ‘Show the Strength’ at the 2022 World Cup.

Virat Kohli has always shown his support towards the development and growth of women’s cricket in India and has urged the Indian cricket fans to show their support to Women in Blue who are going to represent the nation at the biggest women’s tournament.

This edition of ICC Women’s World Cup is big for team India as it’s going to the final ride for Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami in the Blue Jersey at the international stage. These two women have been instrumental in the growth of Women’s cricket in India. The young team India who have idolized these women will be giving their best on the field and will try to win the World Cup for the legendary players.

With the positive message from Virat Kohli, team India women will be boosted with more confidence going into the World Cup. Team India will start their campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday, March 6th at Mount Maunganui.
