Our Club has produced many women cricketers of repute who have donned Karnataka State, South Zone, and Indian colors. Our Club was affiliated to Karnataka Ladies Cricket Association (KLCA). As you are well aware, the Board of Control for Cricket in India took over administration of women’s cricket from 2006 onwards. Our Club regularly participated in the League matches of Karnataka Ladies Cricket Association. Falcon Sports Club also played in KSCA matches initially till 2010 when KSCA made it a pre-requisite for only affiliated clubs to play in the KSCA tournaments. The Pandemic has taken back women’s cricket by a year or two. To equip the women cricketers of our State to be in a state of readiness, we had organized the Sheela Sridhar Memorial Inter-Academy Tournament in September at the KiNi grounds. The matches were played over 30 Overs a side. This was followed by a T20 Tournament played at the Samprasiddhi Sports Estadio in November/December 2020. At this juncture, we received requests from players outside Karnataka also to participate in our Tournament.
