Players to watch out:

Emma de Broughe

The 23-year-old top-order batter has accumulated 278 runs from 9 outings, averaging 30.88, and registered the best of 90. On WNCL’s return, Emma departed for scores of 1 and 0; however, registering a season-best of 90 got back amongst runs. In her recent couple of outings, she managed scores of 14 and 11 and will be backed to build on them.

Kate Peterson

The 21-year-old pacer has scalped 14 wickets from 9 WNCL outings this season, recording an economy rate of 4.84 and the best of 4/34. Kate has been bowling with great rhythm lately, and the same is reflected in her bowling figures of 1/28, 0/29, 1/22, and 1/41. She’ll be counted on to continue with this bowling form, leading the charts.

Nicole Faltum

The 24-year-old keeper-batter, with an average of 28.75, has added 230 runs to the tally from 9 outings and registered the best of 60*. In her previous 4 outings, Nicole has consistently managed starts, and in a couple of those, she registered successive scores of 60* and 55. It’ll be expected of the seasoned campaigner to carry forward this momentum.

The 18-year-old pacer, from 7 WNCL outings this edition, has picked up 10 wickets at an average of 20.10, an economy rate of 5.15, and registered the best of 3/29. Milly was wicketless, yet economical in the Bash, but has returned amongst wickets, registering figures of 2/32 and 2/24 in her previous WNCL outings. Her progress will be closely tracked.

Pitch:

The Karen Rolton Oval has traditionally offered good batting-friendly surfaces, and expect it to be no different, with an average score in the 230s. As indicated by the average score, the wicket has enough in it for bowlers, especially the pacers, who will remain in the game throughout.

Weather:

Adelaide promises ideal conditions for a complete game of cricket with no expected rain. The temperature is forecasted to hover around 22°C, with moderate winds and humidity at 56%.
