Players to watch out:

Katie Mack

The 30-year-old batter, in the ’23/24 WNCL season, averaging 50.33, has accumulated 151 runs from 4 outings and registered the best score of 95*. In the recently concluded WBBL edition, Katie had a brilliant run, consistently scoring runs. She’ll be relied upon for significant contributions in the 2nd WNCL leg as well.

Alisha Bates

The 21-year-old all-rounder looked promising during the 1st leg fixtures and top-scored with 43 against a good South Australian bowling lineup. She bowled economical spells while also picking up a wicket. It’ll be watched how Alisha capitalizes on the start she’s had, and it’ll be worth tracking her progress.

Georgia Redmayne

The 30-year-old keeper-batter, in 4 outings, put on 163 runs on the board, averaging 40.75 in the first leg of WNCL fixtures. Georgia didn’t score a lot of runs in the recently concluded WBBL but managed starts consistently. It’ll be hoped she builds on the runs and significantly impacts the WNCL again.

The center wicket at EPC Solar Park provides a somewhat neutral playing field as the conditions favor both batters and bowlers. Spinners, in particular, benefit from the conditions and the average score at the venue is in the 210s.
