Players to watch out:

Bridget Patterson

The 29-year-old batter has been one of the most consistent batters in the WNCL in recent years. Bridget, who amassed 288 runs in 8 innings during the ’21-22 season, added 337 runs to her tally from 13 games in the following edition. In the ongoing edition, Bridget has notched up successive fifties (51 and 52) to kick off her season and wouldn’t want to drop her momentum to miss out on a strong finish, unlike last season.

Kate Peterson

The 20-year-old pacer first burst onto the scene in the 2021-22 season, contributing with 36 runs and 7 wickets from 8 games. In the following edition, Kate scalped as many as 17 wickets, including a fifer (5/34) from 11 outings. Kate, earlier this year, also toured England with the ‘A’ squad, which gives an impression of her quality. Though her England tour wasn’t fruitful, she’s kicked off her WNCL campaign with figures of 4/34 and 2/29.

The 25-year-old all-rounder has grown in her role and is now a vital asset in the Western Australia XI. In her previous couple of WNCL seasons, Amy has amassed 424 runs and taken 22 wickets in 19 games. This summer, a couple of games into the competition, Amy has yet to be required with the bat but continues to remain effective with the ball, recording figures of 0/27 (5) and 2/30 (9).

Zoe Britcliffe

The 22-year-old pacer picked up 10 wickets from 5 games in the 2022 WNCL season, and in the following season, had a below-par performance, finishing with only 5 wickets from 6 games, though she chipped in scoring 62 runs, including the best of 22*. In her first appearances this summer, Zoe has impressed, producing figures of 3/25 (8) and 2/21 (6) in the round 1 fixtures against Victoria.
