Players to watch out:

Amy Jones

The 30-year-old keeper-batter, in 56 WBBL outings, has amassed 1158 runs, including the highest of 80, at an average of 23.63 and a strike rate of 116.03. Amy has had an excellent WBBL season this year, notching up successive scores of 28, 23, and 33 in recent outings. Following a couple of quiet outings, she bounced back with scores of 28 and 37 in her most recent outings.

Stella Campbell

The 21-year-old pacer has picked up 23 wickets, maintaining an economy rate of 7.70, from 42 games. On her return from injury, Stella found a new home with the Scorchers for WBBL 09 but hasn’t had the season she would have liked. In 4 games this season, she has been expensive and has only managed to bag a couple of wickets. However, with the forthcoming game at W.A.C.A, Stella can be relied upon to excel if she makes it to the XI, especially considering the pitch.

Sophia Dunkley

The 25-year-old batting all-rounder has had a quiet run in her maiden WBBL season thus far, accumulating only 130 runs from 12 outings. Lately, Sophia has managed to get back among the runs, and a few games after scoring 34 runs against Sydney Thunder, she departed for 37 in her most recent outing. It’ll be expected of her to capitalize on this start and finish off her season on a high.

Tess Flintoff

The 20-year-old all-rounder, striking at 122.85 in WBBL, has raced to 258 runs while also picking up 26 wickets from 45 outings. An injury had Tess sidelined for the majority of the WBBL, and now in the business end, she made her first appearance for the Stars this season in their most recent outing. Tess didn’t have a bowl in the game and departed after scoring 15, but she will be backed to put up a strong performance.

Pitch:

The W.A.C.A. Ground dishes a good batting deck with an average score in the 140s. However, the wicket poses a challenge for batters throughout the game due to its lively nature, especially against pacers.

Weather:

With moderate winds, humidity at 20%, and the temperature expected to hover around 35°C, the conditions are pleasant for cricket. Despite cloudy overhead, the chances of rain are minimal, promising a complete game of cricket.

Fantasy playing XI:

Beth Mooney, Amy Jones, Sophia Dunkley, Maia Bouchier, Nat Sciver-Brunt, Sophie Devine, Annabel Sutherland, Alice Capsey, Amy Edgar, Alana King, Sophie Day
