Nicola has had only three outings with the bat, scoring a fine 41* in one of them, and has also picked up a couple of wickets while being consistently economical. Nicola had a tuff last outing departing for a duck and returning figures of 1/34, but will be backed to stage a quick comeback.

Maisy Gibson

The 27-year-old leg-spinner has taken 65 wickets from 68 bowling innings, with the best being 4/24, maintaining an economy rate of 6.83. In 5 outings this WBBL season, Gibson has picked up 3 wickets, and twice when she has completed her bowling quota, she has finished with figures of 1/29 and 2/34. Riding high on confidence, Maisy will be banked on to deliver the goods.

Erin Burns

The 35-year-old all-rounder has scored 1696 runs, including the highest of 71, from 104 innings. In 55 bowling innings, she has taken 40 wickets, with the best being 3/5. Erin has had an ordinary season thus far with a best of 32 with the bat, and her only other double-digit score is a 29 from early in the season. She hasn’t bowled a lot as well, and with the race to the knockouts heating, it’ll be expected of the seasoned all-rounder to rediscover her form.

Chloe Tryon

The 29-year-old all-rounder has scored 716 runs, including the highest of 46*, from 41 innings, while also striking 16 wickets from 33 bowling innings. Chloe has been exceptional with the bat for the Sixers this season, contributing consistently with valuable late runs and her previous 3 scores read 26*, 13, and 40. She has also been among the wickets and has produced figures of 0/14, 3/2, and 2/26 in her recent outings.

The Blundstone Arena dishes a quick track, one that poses challenges for batters and provides an advantage to pacers. The average score in the 110s indicates the demanding conditions and the need for careful batting on this wicket.
