Molly Strano: 

The right-arm off-spinner was one of the only two wicket-takers for Hobart Hurricanes in her last outing against Sydney Sixers. She claimed 16/1 in three overs and was the most economical bowler. Opening the bowling with Hayley Jensen, she struck in her first over.

Mignon du Preez: 

The right-handed top-order batter of Hobart Hurricanes had a good outing with the bat in her last appearance against Sydney Sixers. The South African smashed 26 off 19, including a couple of boundaries and a six. She will be the key to the Hurricanes’ batting.

Carly Leeson: 

The right-handed middle-order batter of Melbourne Renegades led the run chase from the front in her last fixture against Sydney Sixers. She muscled 52 off 32, including six boundaries. She played some stunning shots and ran well between the wickets.

Sophie Molineux: 

The captain of Melbourne Renegades made valuable contributions with bat and ball in her last match against Sydney Sixers. With the ball, the left-arm spinner struck 38/2 in four overs, striking twice in the 17th over. Apart from this, she opened the batting and scored a run-a-ball 18.

Pitch

It will be the tournament’s first match at the venue. Four women’s T20Is have been played here, with the teams batting first and second, winning two games each. The average first innings score is 131, and the average second innings score is 129. Expect a hard surface that will offer assistance to the batters. A run feast could be on the cards.
