Sammy Jo-Johnson: 

This talented all-rounder of Sydney Thunder plays her domestic cricket for New South Wales in Australia. She is a right-handed batter who can open the batting and bat in the middle order. Additionally, she can bowl right-arm medium pace. Apart from the WBBL, she has featured for Trent Rockets in the Hundred in the past.

Rachel Haynes: 

The captain of Sydney Thunder is a left-handed batter from Australia and one of the most experienced international cricketers in the Thunder line-up. She has featured in 84 T20Is and muscled 850 runs, including three half-centuries. Her innate ability to pace her innings well sets her apart from her peers.

Heather Graham: 

She is a right-handed middle-order batter and a right-arm seamer who can open the bowling. Representing Hobart Hurricanes in WBBL, she plays her domestic cricket for Tasmania in Australia. She also featured for Australia in one ODI in 2019.

Nicola Carey: 

She is a left-handed middle-order batter and a right-arm speedster of Hobart Hurricanes. She is a handy all-rounder and has been playing international cricket for Australia since 2018. In her 26 T20Is, she has claimed 18 wickets at an economy of under seven runs per over.

Pitch

This will be the first match of the tournament at the venue. A fresh wicket is expected to offer plenty of assistance to the batters. Expect a high-scoring game. The bowlers will have to make good use of the new ball to get some purchase from the surface.
