Players to watch out for

Harmanpreet Kaur:

The star all-rounder has been in her best form this WBBL season. She has been incredible with both bat and ball. The right-hand bat has muscled 390 runs in 10 innings at an average of 78 and strike rate of 139.29. She is the second leading run-getter in the tournament so far. She has hit 18 sixes, which is the most by any batter in this WBBL season. With the ball, the right arm off-spinner has picked up 13 wickets and is among the top 10 wicket-takers of the tournament.

Evelyn Jones:

The southpaw from England had a good outing with the bat in her last match against Sydney Thunder as she scored 42 runs off 33 balls, including six boundaries and a six. The opening bat also stitched a 91-run partnership with Harmanpreet Kaur which helped the side post a competitive score on board.

Molly Strano:

The right arm-off spinner was the pick of the bowlers for Hobart Hurricanes in her previous match against Adelaide Strikers. She scalped 2-23 in her four overs. She picked up the key wickets of Dane van Niekerk and Laura Wolvaardt. She bowled tight lines and lengths to keep the batters at bay.

Mignon du Preez:

The South African bat top-scored in her last match against Adelaide Strikers. She mustered 21 runs off 24 balls, including four boundaries. She was responsible for holding the Hurricanes’ innings together. The Hurricanes will hope that she continues to score big for them going into the next match.
