Players to watch out for

Darcie Brown:

The right-arm seamer was the player of the match in her last outing against Hobart Hurricanes. Taking the new ball from the other end, she scalped 3-19 in her four overs. She was the most successful bowler for Adelaide Strikers. She bowled good lines and lengths to keep the batters at bay.

Dane van Niekerk:

The South African all-rounder was the top contributor with the bat in her last match against Hobart Hurricanes as she muscled 44 runs off 38 balls, including five boundaries. She stitched a 47-run partnership with Laura Wolvaardt and consolidated the innings after losing her opening partner Katie Mack cheaply.

Courtney Sippel:

The right-arm quick won the player of the match award in her last outing against Sydney Sixers, during which she claimed 2-12 in her four overs, including one maiden. She took the key wickets of Alyssa Healy and Ashleigh Gardner in the second over of the innings.

Jess Jonassen:

The skipper of Brisbane Heat was the most successful bowler in her last match against Sydney Sixers. She accounted for 3-15 in her four overs. The left arm spinner kept things tight and was the second most economical bowler for Brisbane Heat in that match. She pitched the ball in right areas to not allow the batters to score freely of her.

Weather

The weather looks good as the sun will be shining nice and bright throughout the course of the match. The average temperature is expected to be 28 degrees Celsius. There is no chance of rain all through the course of the match. A complete game of cricket is expected. Wind will be blowing from the south-east.

Pitch

In the last two matches played at the venue, medium pacers were successful, given that they won the player of the match in those games. The wicket is true to its nature. Batting is not that easy. Batters will have to spend time at the crease to score runs.
