She was the player of the match in the last game which Adelaide Strikers played against Sydney Sixers. The right hand opening bat led the run chase muscling a 67 not out off 55 balls. She plundered six boundaries during her innings. She steered her team to a comprehensive eight wicket win as she helped them chase down 143 runs in 18.5 overs.

Darcie Brown:

The right-arm quick was the most successful bowler for Adelaide Strikers in their last outing against Sydney Sixers. She claimed 2-34 in her four overs. She bowled disciplined lines and lengths and kept the batters at bay.

Ruth Johnston:

The right-hand top-scored for Hobart Hurricanes in their last match against Perth Scorchers. She mustered 38 runs off 40 balls, including three boundaries and two sixes. She is quite flexible with her batting order as she can open the batting as well as come in the middle order. Apart from her batting, she is more than handy with the ball. She is a right-arm seamer.
