1st Innings Summary – In a do-or-die match, Hobart Hurricanes batters displayed another ordinary batting effort. Only nine 4s were hit in the entire innings and the overall run-rate remained below six all the time. Although, Molly Strano got only one wicket but she bowled brilliantly and conceded just fourteen runs in her four overs. Lea Tahuhu and Sophie Molineux took two wickets each.

2nd Innings Summary – First over of Melbourne Renegades batting innings was full of drama. Sophie Molineux hit two consecutive fours to Rhiann O Donnell on first two balls building up huge pressure on the bowler. Consequently, Rhiann bowled three wides in a row. A six and a four was hit on the fourth and fifth ball. The bowler was finally able to trap the batter and got Sophie caught out by Meg Phillips on the last ball of the same over. As a result of this, Hobart Hurricanes scorecard read 23-1 after the end of first over. Then captain Amy Satterthwaite played a calm and composed innings and together with Courtney Webb took the team very near to the target.
