Marizanne Kapp and Radha Yadav showcased exceptional bowling prowess restraining the opposition’s batting lineup with their exceptional and skillful deliveries.

Chasing the target, Delhi Capitals’ openers Shafali Verma and Meg Lanning displayed sheer dominance, scoring half-centuries, despite a late breakthrough by Sophie Ecclestone. The Delhi Capital’s opener duo scored a half-century each

The formidable opening pair of Meg Lanning and Shafali Verma set the tone for Delhi Capitals’ innings with Lanning scoring 51 off 43 balls and Verma’s unbeaten 64 off 43 deliveries. Their stellar partnership paved the way for a commanding victory as Delhi capitals women reached the target in a mere 14.3 overs showcasing their dominance and efficiency with the bat.

Breach of Code of Conduct by Arundhati Reddy

Arundhati Reddy received a 10% fine of her match fees, for an aggressive send-off to Poonam Khemnar during the 15th over of the 1st innings. Reddy acknowledged her actions which were judged as a level 1 offense under article 2.5 of WPL’s code of conduct.
