Skipper Esha Oza was awarded the Player of the Match for her brilliant match-winning all-round performance, scoring (42 off 40 balls) with the bat and returning with brilliant match figures (4-0-29-3) with the ball.
Zimbabwe led by skipper Chiedza Dhururu was up against the United Arab Emirates in the 5th match of the tri-series at the Wanderers Cricket Ground, Windhoek. United Arab Emirates skipper Esha Oza won the toss and opted to field first. After being inserted to bat first, Zimbabwe got off to a poor start as they lost the wicket of their opening batter Kelis Ndhlovu in the 2nd over of the innings. Kavisha Egodage provided the first breakthrough for the UAE.
Wicket-keeper batter Modester Mupachikwa joined Beloved Biza at the crease and the duo stitched a massive 74-run partnership for the 2nd wicket to take their side close to the 100-run mark. Skipper Esha Oza picked up the wicket of the wicket-keeper batter Modester Mupachikwa (25) to provide the much-needed 2nd breakthrough for her side. Chipo Mugeri-Tiripano joined Beloved Biza at the crease and the duo stitched a crucial 20-run partnership for the 3rd wicket to take their side past the 100-run mark.
Kavisha Egodage returned and cleaned up Beloved Biza (48) to provide the 3rd breakthrough for the United Arab Emirates. Zimbabwe eventually ended up with a total of 145/5 in their quota of 20 overs, courtesy of a 30-run 5th wicket partnership between Tawananyasha Marumani and Chipo Mugeri-Tiripano. The partnership played a crucial role in helping their side post a competitive total on the board.

Kavisha Egodage joined skipper Esha Oza at the crease and the duo took the fizz out of the run chase by stitching a massive 119-run partnership for the 3rd wicket. Kelis Ndhlovu picked up the big wicket of the opposition skipper Esha Oza (84) to provide the much-needed 3rd breakthrough for Zimbabwe. UAE eventually managed to get over the line with five wickets in hand on the last ball of the run chase courtesy of a solid fightback towards the latter half of the innings by the Zimbabwe bowlers.
