Players to watch out for

Sophia Dunkley (Southern Brave): The England middle-order bat has been in good form in the recent past. She is the leading run-getter for her team with 163 runs from six outings, including the best of 50 not out. She has a healthy strike rate of 138.13. She can hold the innings as well as use the long handle at wish.

Amanda Wellington (Southern Brave): The leg spinner has been the most successful bowler for the Brave. She has scalped eight wickets in six matches, including the best of 4-14. She is the fourth-highest wicket-taker in the tournament so far (as of August 9, 2021).

Hayley Matthews (Welsh Fire): The West Indian all-rounder is the highest run-getter for the Fire, with 196 runs from six matches, including the best of 71 not out. She has a good strike rate of 127.27. She is the second-highest run-scorer in the tournament so far (as of August 9, 2021). With the ball, the off-spinner has accounted for seven wickets.

Georgia Redmayne (Welsh Fire): She is the second leading run-getter for the Fire with 117 runs from six matches, including the best of 38 not out. The top-order bat has made some useful contributions in the competitions and has shown lot of promise.

Weather conditions

It is a 3 pm (local) start at The Rose Bowl in Southampton. The weather looks good throughout the course of the match. There is almost no chance of rain as the weather forecasts show a low chance of precipitation. The average temperature is around 19 degrees Celsius, with a moderate breeze blowing from the south-southwest.

Pitch

This will be the third match of the tournament at the venue. In the last two matches, the teams batting second have won. It is a good wicket that offers assistance to batters and bowlers.
