England’s opening bat was the player of the match in her previous outing against Birmingham Phoenix when she smashed 69 off 40 balls, hitting five boundaries and four sixes to steer her team to a comprehensive 8-wicket win. She guided the 141-run chase with ease and showed her class with the bat.

Anya Shrubsole (Southern Brave):

The captain of the Brave is the leading wicket-taker in the side with five wickets in three matches. Her classic in-swingers have troubled the batters and her variations have been incredible. Apart from her bowling, she is more than handy with the bat having scored a 40 not out in one of the three matches that she has batted.

Weather conditions

It is a 2.30 pm (local) start at Lord’s in London. The weather looks good throughout the course of the match. There is almost no chance of rain as the weather forecasts show a low chance of precipitation. The average temperature is around 21 degrees Celsius, with a gentle breeze blowing from the west-southwest.

Pitch

This will be the third match of the tournament at the venue. In the last two instances, teams batting first have won. Looking at the last two games played at this venue, the average score is 133. The pacers have been more successful here as they have picked up 12 wickets to 9 wickets scalped by the spinners.
