This will be the sixth and the last league match of the tournament for both the teams. While Manchester Originals have won two out of their five matches, Oval Invincibles on the other hand, have won four out of their five encounters. Manchester Originals won over Welsh Fire and Birmingham Phoenix and lost to Trent Rockets, Southern Brave, and Northern Superchargers, while Oval Invincibles pipped Northern Superchargers, Trent Rockets, Birmingham Phoenix, and London Spirit.

Emma Lamb: 

The right-handed opening batter of Manchester Originals had a good outing with the bat in her last match against Birmingham Phoenix. She mustered 30 runs off 21 balls, including five boundaries. She laid a solid foundation with a 53-run partnership with her opening partner Lizelle Lee.

Sophie Ecclestone:

 The left arm spinner of Manchester Originals won the player of the match in her last outing against Birmingham Phoenix. The wily bowler scalped 8/3 in her full set of 20 balls, including two wickets of consecutive balls. She was also the most economical bowler for her side. With the bat, she scored 20 off 14, including a boundary and a six.

Lauren Winfield-Hill: 

The right-handed opening batter and wicket-keeper of Oval Invincibles led the run chase from the front with a blistering 44 not out off just 28 balls. She hit seven boundaries and put together 55 runs for the first wicket with her opening partner Suzie Bates, she steered her team to a nine-wicket win chasing 81.

Mady Villiers: 

The right arm off spinner of Oval Invincibles bagged the player of the match for her brilliant bowling performance against London Spirit in the last match. She claimed 12/4 in her full quota of 20 balls. She opened the bowling and struck on the third ball of the innings. She displayed good control with her lines and lengths, bowling with the new ball.

Pitch

This will be the third match of the tournament at this venue. The teams batting first have won both the matches so far. The average first innings score is 138 and the average second innings score is 111. The bowlers had a tough outing in the last match as only five wickets fell and more than 300 runs were scored.
