Amy Jones:

The right-handed top order batter and wicket-keeper from Birmingham Phoenix won the player of the match for her unbeaten 44 off 32 balls in her last outing against Trent Rockets. She smashed five boundaries and guided her team to an eight-wicket win chasing 117. She came in to bat at 22/1. She held the innings together and led the run chase from the front.

Emily Arlott: 

The right arm speedster from Birmingham Phoenix was the pick of the bowlers in her last fixture against Trent Rockets. She scalped 19/3 in her full quota of 20 balls. She was also the most economical bowler for her side giving away just 0.95 runs per ball. She pitched in the right areas to yield maximum from the wicket.

Bess Heath: 

The right-handed top order batter from Northern Superchargers starred with the bat in her last match against London Spirit. She scored a delectable 57 off 34, including nine boundaries and a six. In the process, she stitched a 70-run partnership with Laura Wolvaardt for the third wicket. Heath won the player of the match for her match winning batting effort.

Alice Davidson-Richards: 

The right arm medium pace bowler from Northern Superchargers was the most successful bowler for her team in her last outing against London spirit. She claimed 20/2 in her full set of 20 balls. Apart from her bowling, she is more than a handy right-handed batter.

Pitch

This will be the second match of the tournament at this venue. The last match saw 233 runs being scored. 11 wickets fell in the process. The wicket is expected to offer an exciting contest between bat and ball as there is something in it for both departments.
