Players to watch out:

Kathryn Bryce

The 26-year-old all-rounder, from 40 T20I appearances, has amassed 1020 runs at an average of 36.42 and scalped 37 wickets at an economy rate of 4.35, with bests being 73* and 3/8. Kathryn, in the warm-up games, registered scores of 21 and 66, while also producing bowling figures of 1/16 in her only inning. She’ll be relied upon for the goods.

Abtaha Maqsood

The 24-year-old leg-spinner, from 44 T20I innings, has struck 45 wickets at an economy rate of 5.21. Abtaha didn’t find any success in the warm-up games, registering figures of 0/13 (2) and 0/22 (3). However, she displayed fine form in her only One-Day International earlier this month and will be backed to translate her form into the shortest format.

Janet Mbabazi

The 28-year-old all-rounder in T20Is, from 66 outings, has accumulated 876 runs, and from 56 innings has bagged 75 wickets, including respective bests of 42* and 4/12. While Janet has struggled for runs lately, she has been in outstanding form with the ball. It’ll be hoped that she continues her bowling form while finding her way back amongst runs.

Consy Aweko

The 32-year-old all-rounder, averaging 10.01 and maintaining an economy rate of 3.64, has claimed 100 wickets from 73 T20Is and added 132 runs to the tally from 32 innings. Though Consy finished wicketless in both warm-up fixtures, her economical figures read 0/4 (2) and 0/13 (3). With the wicket favorable for spin, she can be counted on to lead the tally.

Pitch:

The average score in the 130s indicates favorable conditions for scoring runs as batters benefit from even bounce, allowing them to display their stroke play effectively. Additionally, spinners find assistance due to the dry pitch, with the potential for turn.

Weather:

With clear sunny skies, the weather conditions are ideal for a complete game of cricket. The temperature is expected to hover around 27°C with moderate winds and a humidity level of 26%.
